There will be a raffle at Mulligan’s Open again this year as we look to once again raise money for charity. In the past our attendees have been very generous and helped to raise £393 for the British Heart Foundation in 2022 and £460 for Bethany Homeless Charities in 2023. This year we are very happy to announce that we will be raising money for both Tiny Changes and Andy’s Man Club.
Tiny Changes is a Scottish Mental Health Charity set up by the family of Frightened Rabbit singer and guitarist Scott Hutcheson in the aftermath of his tragic suicide. Tiny Changes support children and young people with their mental health through empowering and supporting young leaders to create innovative mental health projects in their communities. Andy’s Man Club is a men’s suicide prevention charity, offering free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the United Kingdom and online. They want to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and help men through the power of conversation. #ITSOKAYTOTALK. We are very lucky to be joined by Volkajo and TheOrcthadontist at Mulligan’s Open who have championed these charities over the last year. They will be giving us a little more information on these charities and why they are important to them on the day.
As for the raffle… We have been very lucky to be well supported by sponsors this year and as such we have some pretty nice items to raffle off in support of the two charities above. We will be selling tickets as per usual at a £1 a ticket and £5 a strip on the day. Any and all sales/donations will be welcome and will go equally 50/50 between the two charities.
